This is a list of things that need to be done at some point. If you complete on of these things and notice that you do, feel free to remove it from the list. If you do something and do not realize it is on this list so you do not mark it off, that is fine. Someone will probably notice and remove it. Feel free to add things to this list. You can also add suggestions, just word it like a suggestion such as, 'Maybe we should add more pictures of cats' or something like that.

Character Page Related Edit

  • Add pages for more characters in general
    • These will probably be characters who have a name but use a generic sprite, or characters without a sprite at all. Not all characters without a sprite need to be mentioned, just more important characters. For example, George Deveny has a page even though he has no sprite because he is directly related to Steven, an important character, and is the reason Steven does a lot of what he does.
    • As of right now, all character sprite images should be uploaded. So, if a new character is found, search around for the image of the character needed.
  • Add character descriptions
  • Add quotes for characters.
    • Quotes pages for prominent characters have been added, they just need quotes.

Caper Related Edit

Don't forget to update the 'Capers' list when a new guide is written and don't forget to update character pages with the caper if they were involved in it

  • Double check to make sure all relationship points are listed.
  • Add a picture of the requirements for each caper to the individual caper's page
    • Fix requirement lists that have errors and add extra information.
      • Go back an make sure the edited lists look fine, since many do not. Use Georgia font.
    • Create lists for those events that do not have them
      • Re-do the lists I already made myself and make them look better since the obstacles use 'Georgia' font
  • You might not be able to get 100 relationship with Ahmose points as I can account for 96, and he's literally only in six capers. I can't imagine I'm missing four points with him in the code.
  • Add the diary entry (on a new page) for each caper (still needs to be done for The Main Adventure, each guy's Main Adventure page, and all of Sterling).
  • Add section on requirements to unlock caper/time frame caper is available and if it unlocks additional actions on the map, possibly with notes on how it affects dialogue or choices in other capers and vice-versa.
  • Add clearer departure times to the main adventure guide

Location Related Edit

  • Change all instances to [If you've seen all previous Roland: The Main Adventure events] (and the same for the other guys).
    • Check the "Dream of" route ones because I can't remember if those only unlock if you're on their dream path or not

Achievement Related Edit

  • Update pages whenever an achievement that's broken actually gets fixed

Other Edit

  • Add information about artifacts/lore of the game, (The Ankh, etc.)
  • Add information about organizations
    • At this point, most organizations should be added. But if anyone thinks of another one, feel free to add it.
  • Create a dayplanner tool/calendar template with in-game deadlines, automatically triggered events/obstacles, and time blocks unavailable for activities.
  • Add a general strategy and tips page.
  • Add a "recommended beginner's path" tutorial/walkthrough guiding first-time players through a tailored basic experience so they can get a feel for the game and characters and enough experience with the mechanics to plan additional playthroughs on their own.
    • Path would be Dream of Family on Easy and would include the Main Adventure, each guy's Main Adventure, and anything else required to unlock events in each guy's Main Adventure or understand the Main Adventure (most of Sterling's capers and maybe a few of Roland's, as they are the most active guys in the Main Adventure).

How to Calculate Obstacle Difficulty Edit

All of the capers on the wiki have their obstacle numbers done, but this is a very helpful guide, so I'm leaving it here for reference.

  • Instead of playing through every caper on both difficulties, it would be a lot easier to try to mathematically figure out what the difficulty would be. Easy is half of normal and hard is 150% of normal (or normal + easy). While this method can get most base numbers, determining how stress will impact it is challenging, but there is an equation.
    • If you know the normal difficulty number, add the Stress modifier, then multiply by 0.5 for easy or 1.5 for hard.
    • Example: If you have a normal base of 8 and a Stress modifier of 4: 8 + 4 = 12;
      • For easy, 12 x 0.5 = 6
      • For hard, 12 x 1.5 = 18
    • For numbers that are odd before the difficulty adjustment -- for example, a normal base of 7 and a Stress modifier of 4: 7 + 4 = 11;
      • For easy, 11 x 0.5 = 5.5; Python rounds down, so the Easy total is 5
      • For hard, 11 x 1.5 = 16.5; Python rounds down, so the Hard total is 16
